Great book I loved it

Eragon is an amazing book. I have read some of the other reviews online and most say that it was a copyoff of the lotr. Yes, it has the same structure, but it is a different story. I reccomend this book to all young adults and teens. It had many twists turns and surprises that made it next to imposssible to put down!

OTHER RECCOMENDATIONS: ARTEMIS FOWL, SEVENTH TOWER, REDWALL SERIES, HARRY POTTER

I thought that this was a great book for young adults. I should know 'cause I am one. Anyway, the adjectives that Paolini used to describe events, places and characters were great. It's also very original. It didn't remind me of anyuthing else I had ever read. Eragon is a jewel among dirt. The plot was intriguing and it was full of suspense. It is nice and long also. It will keep you busy for a while but won't bore you. Eragon rocks!! Kudos for Mr. Paolini.

I found this site while I was looking for the release date of Eldest, the sequel to Eragon. I was totally surprised at what I was reading here.

I love the novel, Eragon. I can not believe that anyone would say that this book was published only because his parents wanted money and had the ability to get it published. Frankly, it sounds like sour grapes.

Eragon is an excellent novel, appropriate for younger readers and enjoyable by adults. It is even more impressive, in that it is his first effort. Not since Harry Potter has a story caught my eleven year old daughter's attention to this degree. She can't put the book down!

That kind of story-telling ability is a skill. While I do expect that his next novel will be even better constructed (I would expect that of any author gaining experience in their craft), that does not detract from Eragon. It is a great read.

If you all think you could do better, go for it ... put it out there in an e-book if you can't swing the cost of paper publishing. Let's see if you can put your skill where your mouth is.

The emotion this book shows is more than any normal person can stand. from the moment Eragon developes a love filled passionate relationship with Saphira to the absolute hatred and malice Eragon shows towards the Razac, This book never gives up Bravo Chris Bravo --fellow young author--
