What readers think of Eragon, plus links to write your own review.

I loved Eragon because it was full of action, suspense and fun! Christopher Paolini transports you into a world of dragons, shades, elves and dwarves. I think that Eragon is a great book for all ages but if under 6 you might need a bit of help understanding it and it might be a bit scary for that age group. In short the story is about a boy called Eragon who finds an egg and from that his life changes. He has become a mystical rider. With the help of a story teller, Brom, he becomes a great warrior. I think Christopher Paolini is one of the best authors.

This book was great, i enjoy fantasy of all types (my favorite being of course Tolkien) and this definatly rates among the top books i have read, with vivid discriptions, amazing characters, and an overall vast and complex world. now generally i am somewhat adverse to dragons, especially the type used as horses so you can imagine my chagrin when i saw "another book about dragons" however being a young writer myself i was obliged to at least try the book and see what children my age (or so) can do. I have to say i was blown away by the sheer scale depth, scale, and literacy with which Paolini writes, and am anxiously anticipating the arrival of further installments in the series.

I think this book was great!

Paolini is the best author I have ever read from. The intense detail adds even more to the fantastic plot.

This was one of the best books i have ever read. I was so upset that the second and thrid were not out. i want to read them so much!!!!

After reading this book I only have one thing to say: this book is INCREDIBLE! Christopher Paolini is a great author and in some ways better then JK Rowling. I see great things in store for this young author. This is definetly the best book I've read since Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Truly destined to be one of those great books such as Lord of the Rings. May your swords stay sharp!
