WHAT A BOOK!!
Hill is probably one of the greatest authors of my time, ignoring the sad realization that very few read his books. The Icemark Chronicles are the brilliant recordings of the great Thirrin and her children and the dangers they face defending the small country of the Icemark. The battle scenes are mind blowing, the characters are wonderfully charming, and the story is unlike anything you will find in the fantasy section at the book store. Read them, and know how enchanting the fantasy world of Hill can be,

I love this book!!
I love fantasy!!! Although Harry Potter is truly my favorite, the Cry of the Icemark runs a very close second. Anyone who is out for another good read- try the GOLDEN COMPASS, or for a more mature read, try STARDUST. Long live the Icemark!!!

The Cry of the ice mark
This book is a captivating story about 13 year old Thirrin, Princess of the Icemark. The Icemark is under seize, A war is around her and she is more than willing to fight. After she fights and wins her first battle, her father names her "Wild Cat Of The North", but not long after he is killed by the brutal Cassius Brontus who is leading the opposing troops. She is left to rule the Icemark and fight in his place, but can she do it.......

awsome
In this book Hill could not have done a better job of drawing you in and making you feel like you are in a completely different world, and in fact he did this so well that you did not just feel fear for the people that were fighting in the war but you ,at times even felt it for yourself! I may just be twelve but in all, I have read four hundred and thirty nine books and this one is the best one i`ve ever read for sure! I wish so badly that there could be some way for me to directly compliment him and tell him what a perfect job he did on this extra ordinary book!!!way 2 go Stuart.

The Cry Of The Icemark
I thought that this book was amazing. Stuart Hill achives the ultimate story line which gets you so attached. I just couldn't put the book down. The way he write's it makes you feel like you step into another world, a world of monsters, vampires and werewolves. It is really an excellent book.
