Wow
That was all I could say when I finished this book. I was unsure of it when i got it at my school book fair, but I hadn't seen what one of my favorite authors had said about it. I loved this book even more than Eragon, and THAT'S saying something my fellow readers.

Cry of the Icemark
Ah, this book. It exploded into the dull monotony of todays standard, stereotypical warrior/army/war books for children with a dazzling flash that kept on shining. Stuart, an unknown author, made his debut with shocking success. This book, and its successor, Blade of Fire, are amongst, if not precedent of, the best book I have ever read in my life. 13 years though that may be, I think I can safely say I have read a lot more than most! I have over five hundred books in my bedroom alone, and I can tell you that my hand will always go to that particular tome when I want a good adventure story. A fantastic read; well done Stuart Hill!

Fantastic
This book is the best book I have ever read. The book was about a 14 year-old warrior princess, Thirrin, who unexpectedly becomes queen of the Icemark. I enjoyed how Stuart Hill used many little details to set the story plot and make this a great story.I loved this book so much when I found out there was going to be a seqel I had to read it so I found it and read it in 3 days! I really hope he writes either a new series or a third book in the Chronicles of the Icemark.

The Cry of the Icemark is the best book of all time. A wild 14 year old warrior- princess must overcome impossible dangers and save her kingdom from being annhialated by the most cunning and deadly army that the kingdom of Icemark and the world has ever known. She must forge unlikely alliances with former enemies. And she must rally her kingdom and allies together with her countries fierce battle cry "Blood, Blast, and Fire!" You won't be able to put this book down, you'll be so engrossed in this book that you will be lost to the world and caught up in the warrior princess's world.(This review written by a 12 year old)

Excellent
This book was among the greatest books I have ever read. I loved how Mr. Hill wrote the ends of each chapter. To me, they sounded like the end of the book, which made the following chapter seem like a sequal. This book is well written and I recomend it to anyone who loves fantasy mixed with milatary aspects.

The Cry of the Icemark was one of the best books that I have ever read!
I really enjoyed reading this book, the writer,Stuart Hill, really pays attention to the small details. The plot is well formed, and it appeals to many interests. It's a fictional, fantasy, thriller, mystery, war, battle book all rolled into one. The Author, Mr.Hill, did a great job with the publishing of this book, I hope that maybe someday he will come out with a sequal. I know I'll be looking forward to it!
