Sold
This book is okay. It jumps back and forth at times, and sometimes there is info in it that is not needed.

Ummm
I love this book so0 much but it leaves you wanting more. After all she went through I wanna know how happy she is in this new place, if she ever sees her family and if her mom ever finds out what happen to her. Overall this book is very touching & sad. I feel her pain and her worry is as if it was all happening to me. Ever since I read this book I feel grateful about all I have; like she said we Americans live like kings and it is true we do. I don't worry about the cold about the the rain or the snow because my roof is good.

ILOVE ISHARA
Sold is a very good book. Even though it has adult things in it, the story is good one. It is very easy to read as well.

thought provoking
Sold was a great book in many ways. It made me realize that people live on the same planet as me but it seems like they live hundreds of years in the past. I worry about how my appearance looks while Lakshmi worries about starving to death. I really took this story to heart and I haven't bought as many clothes lately. I haven't been to the mall in four months or so, and for a teenage girl, that's pretty good. I hope that people don't have to go through that pain everyday to survive. This book was great and I hope that you enjoy reading it too! =]

It was okay
I thought the book was okay but still not detailed enough, I wanted more detail in the places she didn't put detail and less in the places she put lots, Overall I didn't enjoy the book as much as I thought I would.

I don't like this
Ummmm... not only India has prostitution but every country including America has prostitution, murder, rape, sexual assault, etc. and there have been 50 rapes in America committed by the same man who still isn't caught yet.
