Happy Accidents
This is a superb book that is well referenced. The style, though containing a great deal of "academic" material, is fluid and very readable. Dr. Meyers provides a great deal of insight from years as both a clinician and researcher that are practical for the clinician, scientist, aspiring scientist and really anyone interested in what results can occur from creativity, curiosity and intuition. A recurrent theme is "thinking outside the box". Satisfy your own curiosity and read this book! It is well referenced and topics are accessible for future explorations beyond this text.
