Dave is a very lucky and couragous man. I understand how he must feel and have felt, I will always hold him in my heart and prayers. The best of luck in all of his journeys in present and future. Text

having read all three books,i found this to be the most enjoyable.not that the first two were less so,it was just so heartwarming to see the wonderful "man named dave"emerge.if only there were more people like Dave in the world, what a far nicer place it would be.

Dave Pelzer's books are inspiring to my family, friends, and I. I cried in most of the parts and I could fell his pain. His mother was awful along with his fathers and brothers. Dave, I admire you.

I've read both A Child Called 'It' and The Lost Boy and I think they are wonderful. I cried through the whole of A Child Called 'It', it was so touching. Although I'm only 17 it has really opened my eyes as to the torture that young defenseless children are subjected to. After reading A Child Called 'It' I looked at my life at a completely different angle. I never knew people could be so mean, especially a mother to her child. It was very distressing and I want to foster children when I'm older because I believe no living, breathing human being should have to undergo such torture ever in their lives. I now want to make a difference to a child's life and give them the love Dave was forever looking for.

I think Dave is great, he is the most inspiring person I have come across. He's come through all the obsticles life has thrown at him and deserves a million medals for the courage, strength and Faith he has. I really admire him and I can't wait to read the third book, A Man Named Dave- I'm sure it'll be just as great!
