I have read Dave's first two books, A Child Called "It" and The Lost Boy and just recently I finished his third, A Man Named Dave. His books are amazing! He is amazing! Before I read this book, I never realized what child abuse was. All that I knew was it was the beating of a child. These books have taught me so much. It made me realize that child abuse is more then the beating of a child. It is something that scars one for life. But Dave Pelzer has turned a negative into a positive. He is the most amzing man I have ever seen. I'm not sure what else to say but god bless you Dave. You are an amazing man!

I think david would not be the same kinda guy if he had abused. It made him appreciate things that we would not. From what i have read from his books the worst thing you can do to him is break is trust ect.

This is an excellent book. Anyone who thinks that they have had a hard life needs to read all of Dave Pelzer's books and see just how good they had it compared to him. After you read this book you think about a lot of things and life just looks different.

I think that this book is awesome! I have read all of Dave's books and this one is a satisfying conclusion to his first two books. Dave has inspired many people, and I recommend that everyone read his series.

this book was probably the most powerful one of the trilogy. It was a big step forward in many ways for Dave and i admired his will power and strength throughout the long and at times heart breaking journey.

For a while after i had read "A Man named Dave", i often thought about how i would of handled the situation and the stress and the constant question of WHY ME?

I have recommended the trilogy to many people as they had once recommended it to me.
I have still got to read "The Lost Boy" and im looking forward to that.

my admiration goes out to your continual strength.

Thanks.
