The lost boy is an emotional read. Through every page Dave explains in the greatest detail of what happened in his life and how he tried to piece it together. From a small child being abused by his mother to a teenager looking for a family. I suppose he found a family in may ways. Each foster family that he was took in by gave him a little piece of his life back, he just had to put those pieces together. The lost boy makes you realize the aftermath of living an abused life. People think after the child has been rescued that they can just get everything together easy, but after reading this book, you find out that there is much more. And the life of one keeps coming.

This book is really sad. i think this is a really good book though. it caught my attention and it made me aware of what does happen in the world and how lucky I'm to be in a loving family and a good reason to wake up in the morin'. A Child Called "IT" and The Lost Boy helped me realise how much I take thing for granded. If you haven't read both of these books you have missed out on some good books!! Go READ THIS BOOK!!!!!
