Teaches about our capitalist society and how we should be. Takes you through trials and chances. A+ for John Grisham.

"The Testament" is an outstanding and extremely well put together piece of literature.
I have always enjoyed books that set in the less populated parts of the world and deal with areas and people that haven't been contaminated by all the spoils of material life. We live in a society where money is the religion, addiction and weakness of almost everyone. We all believe it will somehow make our lives better. I liked Grisham's portrayal of the seven Phelan heirs when the testament's outcome was about to be announced. The book also takes a unique, indepth look at the South American natural beauty. My mother is from Rio and I have been there several times in the past few years. This coming summer I plan to take an ecological research trip to the Amazon
region. Grisham continues to amaze me with his work and I certainly hope he writes one like "The Testament" in the near future. I highly recommend this book to all college students.

This book was great. I have read many books in my life, but none seem to have the same effect that John Grisham's novels have and hopefully continue to have. Great job John!
