I am 13 years old and i understud it very well and i have read it 5 times and am doing a huge book report on it. When i first watched the movie i enjoyed it very so much that i went out looking for the book but i couldn't find it any where until i got home and asked my mom and she just went to the book shelf and pulled it out i was so happy that we had it and i am going to read it tons of times and i recomended it to all my friends and they said they loved it well i hope to see more amazing novels like this one come out.

I read this book for a grade 9 English ISP. After reading the back of the novel, I must admit that I was a bit skeptical. It sounded like another of the many stories out there that look at reality and overly exagerated life struggles. But as soon as I started reading, I couldn't help but realize how utterly wrong I really was. In this novel every character is well developed. I found that he multi-conflict idea was very effective. Instead of just one problem there were numerous. This kept you wondering what would happen next. This book was anything but predictable. Althought the language was not very difficult, the ideas in the story were very real and I would not recommend this book for readers who are not ready for the harshess of the real world.

A real heart warming book that gives you faith in the common person after reading and watching all the sad and heartbreaking news on tv and in the newspaper.
