The Ya-Ya's are awesome! This is the best book I've read in a long time! Rebecca Wells' sequel, Little Altars Everywhere is also a great read.

I read this book a few years ago. All of my close friends have also read it. We are yayas at heart, our husbands are yoyos and are children are petite yayas and yoyos. We all have our yaya/yoyo names as well. Strange how this book affects us all. It shows how true friendships survive major obstacles and how we ultimately bond in our sisterhood.
