I think that this book is excellent. i've notices that as the book serious go on the books get better and better. the first 2 book were mainly about Harry and Vodamort but this book was more about Harry's parents and past. i love the way j.k.rowling makes the chacters come alive. i can't wait for book 5 to come out.

When my sister gave me my present at chrismas, I knew right away it was a book. When I unwrapped the paper and bold red and blue colours of the philosophers stone were staring back at me, I felt a mixture of joy and scepticism. I knew I would never have bought the book myself, I wasn't that pushed on reading it, despite the raving reviews, and besides, I had already a tonne of books to get through. After a while, I was sick of the books I was reading, I found them dull, long and hard to pay attention to, I felt like something fresh and easy, like a kids book. So I picked up Harry Potter and started reading. I was instantly hooked and pleasantly surprised. J.K Rowling writes magnificantly and conjures up so many fine images in my imagination, that I almost can't wait until I have children of my own to read them to.

I am 21 years old and i loved the book,it was fantastic,my sister is 27 and she also loved it, i also have friends in their 20s that think the book was and still is great.JK Rowling should be so pleased with herself, she probably didn't imagin how popular the harry potter series would be.Now i ,like so many other fans, is waiting for book 5 and when it does come out i will be down the shop that same day.I got off the subject a bit about book3,there is so much in book 3 that shocked me, ..... this section deleted by BookBrowse due to plot spoilers!..... I'm sorry if you've just started to read the book and i've just told you the best parts, but i couldn't help it.Take care now all you potter fans and wish book 5 comes out soon.

I would like to say that all the Harry potter books are fantastic to read and as for Roy who claims that he would of only given the prisoner of Azkaban 0, i think you need to learn how to read, because if you could you wouldn't be putting the book down. It's fantastic and one of the most loved books through out the world.
