My stepson received the second Harry Potter book for Christmas last year. Until then, I had never heard of Harry Potter. He asked me to read a chapter of the book with him every night before he went to bed. I agreed, rather hesitant at first. I love to read, mostly classic novels, but I wasn't looking forward to reading a "kid's book." I thought it would be a bit boring for me, since I'm 21. How wrong I was! I was just as captivated by Harry Potter as my stepson was. We found out that it was hard to stop after one chapter! Every night I went to bed wondering if Gilderoy Lockhart was the one bring all the trouble on Hogwarts. After completing the second book, we immediately bought the first book to find out how the Harry Potter saga began. We are almost finished with the first book now and have the third and fourth books on order. I think I'm more crazy for Harry Potter is now than my stepson!

Wow, this is a great book. I have the audio book of it, I couldn't stop listening to it. it actually made me feel like I was in the story seeing and hearing everything that goes on. J.K. Rowling is a great author

I think that Harry Potter books are much like Ronald Dahl's which makes them a high priority on my reading list. They are serious, yet funny, and exciting in a suspenseful way. I have one thing to say to J.K. Rowling- "You are a great writer" I would never of even dreamed of coming up with a character as good a Harry. He is like a regular kid, well except he is a wizard.

I think these books are really great. I am thirteen and when my cousin told me to read them I thought they would be babyish. When I started reading I didn't think it was all that great but when Harry got into Hogwarts and started playing Quidditch I got really excited and now I'm hooked! I told my brother to read them and he loves them and now so do my two friends and my brother's friend.

I love the chamber of secrets. I thought the book was great and a good read for anyone 8 to 80. favorite line, 'he looks like a pig in a wig.' Harry on his cousin Dudley.

I love Harry potter! It gives you a chance to disappear to a magical world, in Europe, where there are unicorns, and starry skies, and friends, and magic, and adventure. I loved the chamber of secrets! I do wish it would come out sooner though. (Plus I am 12 and I love Harry potter, there not just for kids, my teacher loves them)
