I found this book by reading it in my Language Arts class.I gave it a five because this book is one of the best books that I have ever read. You will get into the book from the first chapter. You will love this book!! Jerri Spenalli is a very good book writer. I have read most of his books and they are fabulous, too. I think that no matter how old you are you will love this book!! She does alot that we at a kid or teenage would do. She reads news papers and watches the news. If you want to know why then you should read the book. She also falls in love, but I'm not going to tell you what happens. I challenge you to read this book and see if you like it, too.

Stargirl is a good book this is a story about a girl that tries to fit in and after a will she starts to fit in but it turned around really fast when she started chearing for the other team thin the girls where picking on her and the bus driver asked if every body was here and they left her behind thats the only part I dont like but other than that I really liked this book it teached me not to pick on other people just because there diffrent. the end

I was in my language Arts when I first heard of the novel Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. At first I thought that the story was going to be boring. Then when I started to read it I fell in love with it. That is why I gave this novel a five(I would have gave it higher but the scale was one to five). Also Jerry Spinelli is a very good writer.
I would highly recommend this story!!!

I read Stargirl in my Language Arts class. It's about an unusual girl who experiences the taste of popularity and the feeling of shunning. Like most great stories the book has a bit of romance in it. Overall it's a great story and I'd recommend it to anybody who likes to read.

In the story stargirl it is about a girl who is very strange and weird. No one likes here that much until she shows up at one of the football games and starts to cause alot of excitment. she has a crush on one of the main characters. Then everything goes down hill. This book is for any one with an imgination and a sense of humor. When i first saw it i thought it would be boring and shred but as we read the book i began to blend in with the story and feel the conflicts of the story.

I found the novel, "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli, interesting in a way other books are not. I can really relate to the main character, Stargirl, since I have a sort of "go-get 'em" personality. Stargirl has been home schooled, up until she hit the floors of the quiet Mica High. She meets one of the other leading characters and right away, she has a crush on him. The boy, Leo, collects porcupine neckties, and his close friend Kevin and he work to create new shows for the "Hot Seat", the schools television program. Overall, It was a great book and I hope that you would find it interesting too.

I really liked the book "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli because i like the fact that I can relate to the characters in the book because they're so much like me and so lifelike. I have read this book at least 5 times and I havn't got tired of it yet !!! This is one of the best books I've ever read and I'm glad that it was put onto the Premier's Reading Challenge booklist for 2003 - 2004. This is a great book to read if you want to be an individual. This book is recommended to EVERYONE !!!!
