I hated reading and could never get into a book. Most of the time I fell asleep within the first 5 pages, until Stargirl was recommended by my school librarian. It usually takes me forever to read but once I started reading Stargirl I couldn't put it down! I read the whole book in 2 days. It was excellent, I loved it! The end made me cry, thats how much I got into the story. I hope Jerry Spenelli makes a Stargirl 2 or some kind of sequel to it! If there is one, let me know... Anyways this is a really touching story and I would recommend it to anyone, espically if you have any of the problems I have.

This was an excellent book with greath characters! I'd definetly show it to a friend.

its a great book.
I find this book very good it teaches children to be who they want to be and never to change for anyone but themselves.

Star Girl is very outgoing she is constantly doing something nobody would even think of doing, at first she is not at all respected by that but after a while people start to notice its great to be unique.

i would recommend it for the ages of 8-15

This book actually made me absolutely love the books By: Jerry Spinelli! It was so interesting, and it would keep you saying, "One more chapter please!" I think it was interesting and since I researched about the author I could make a lot of connections and even more differences! I personally think he is a really good author and is on the top of my list of favorite authors. For the book Loser, from a scale of 1-5 I would give it a 5. It is really good and you should read it!

i love this book so much, but just bits of it were kind of boring. if jerry Spenelli reads this(i couldn't get a hold of your address) this book is so wonderful and it has such a great lesson, it should be made into a movie. if there is any way anybody can make this into a movie, they should. When my class read this boook, the next day everybody dressed up as "Stargirls" and wore crazy things and things that they would wear every day if they were brave enough to be as different as Stargirl was. The past weeekend my friend came back to school saying "I'm a Stargirl". We all asked her why and she replied at my soccar game I cheered for the other team. We were so proud of her.
