i actually hated the book when i first read it. But when i finished it i thought it was really good. A girl who was what she wanted to be like and not what people wanted her to be like. Well at first anyway. I hated when Leo wanted to change her and make her what everyone wanted her be like everyone. All in all i give this book a 4 out of 5.

The book was good...though I really think it's what's behind the words that count. There was real emotion. Almost as if you can feel the disappointment of the characters and see through their eyes.

This book is unique, and a bit different from other books I've read by Spinelli. Still, it grasps the concept that teenagers are still not willing to accept people different from them, and how delicate popularity can be. And how dangerous falling in love with a girl like Stargirl can be. Bacically, it comes down to, that you have to decide whats important to you.

I thought that this book was very good and it had a great story to it even though it had some sad parts to it. Though when i read thsi book it did remind me of what highschool waslike

I loved this book! It was one of those that pulled you in and didn't let you out until the end. I couldn't put it down. A MUST READ! The only thing I would change about it would be the ending. I would have wrote it so Stargirl and Leo grew up and got married. I cried when I finished it. Not so much that it was a sad ending, but mostly because the wonderful book was over.

Good Message - Bad Book
My whole class had to read this book for Lit. Most of the boys hated it except for one. (this boy is not me)! My opinion is that it started out good but 1/3 of the way through I lost interest. NO BOY WOULD EVER PICK UP THIS BOOK!
