lOvEd the book.. i liked the first two as well, but this one was soo good. yeh there are a few dark things in the book, but that's where knowing what to let your children read comes into play. a lot of people dont realize that these books arent really directed towards children. i'm a feverent christian, but i still liked the book, so dont let fear of having your ideologies challenged stop you from indulging in awesome literature. towards the end the book i was absolutely bawling, which is hard for a book to do to me. i think it's good to subject yourself to other theories of what role God has, but dont feel pressured by them. the most common mistake i see is when people totally overanalyze the book and accuse the author of trying to push their opinions out on their readers. you have the choice to read each book you pick up, and you also have the choice to just enjoy it or to stress yourself and be overanalytical. just bask in pullman's awesome writing and enjoy yourself with this book.

I loved this book! Philip Pullman built up the suspense and plot throughout the first two books of the series and successfully finishes the story in The Amber Spyglass. Some readers unlike myself may dislike the sad ending, but the book is such a masterpiece. The ending truly fit and I enjoyed the book.

This book had every element of a story war, magic, sciance, religion, polotics, romance, it had all of those aspects combined to become the greatest book of the world.

I believe this is the book that has inspired me the most. You may or may not like Lord of the Ring, and you may or may not like Harry Potter at a certain point, but i don't think it is even possible not to like mister Pullman's work. It is very hard to say which book is the most amazing in the Trilogy, if it was up to me, I would choose the three of them, but this one is certainly amazing. I respect this work very much, and I (beeing an aspiring "Movie maker") believe that, this would be the movie of the century. Well, if you haven't yet, read the books, they are simply THE BEST.

This is an amazing book that takes you into worlds you can only dream about! It's the conclusion of His Dark Materials Trilogy by Philip Pullman. It has a great conclusion too! I recommend this book to anyone who knows how to read, because without it, you will miss all of the good stuff!

I think this book is the best of the trilogy. I has the same interesting characters and other introductions and they take you to all kinds of different places. I also enjoy the theological side of the book. Definately a 10 out of 10.

This truely is a piece of master-class! The only negative point that I have to say is that it leaves the reader a bit confused as the story produces ambiguity. This is my only negative point as his plots stir the imagination and his "Dark Materials" trilogy is a joy to read. I recommend it to everyone!
