This is a superb book! I think everyone should HAVE to read it.

This book was confusing and boring but I have to give the author his props for lettin out all the emotions and all that. But the truth is, I'm just not into those kinds of book. Maybe if the author put a different ending like Joey's father ges over his alcoholism and Joey gets a hold of his ADD. Since I have ADD, I know what its like to not have control over his body. I aslo think that the author Joey problem mixed-up. With all Joey's symptoms, it looks more like he has ADHD. I have ADD and that's not hyperactivity. The H in ADHD is hyperactivity. ADD is Attention Defisite Disorder. ADHD is Attention Defisite Hyperactivity Disorder. So you see, he must have gotten it mixed-up. But that's only my opinion since I do have ADD and my brother and mother has ADHD. I guess the ADHD passed me, so I only got ADD. Oh yeah, my dad has ADHD too

This book was pretty good but confusing. It was really funny but I couldn't relate to any of the charactors, and I don't like books like that. This one was OK, but I wouldn't ant to read it again.

i was horrible i wanted to throw it in the garbage. the worst book i ever read

The book was okay but it didn't have that gravitational pull that makes you want more. I'm sure Jack Gantos is a great writer and has his moments but this book is definitly not one if them. The book is from first person perspective and Joey thinks he can put his parents back together and just hopes too much until he'll do anything for it to happen.

Worst book I ever read! Garbage! Trash! Horrible! Ive read other books by this author and they were pretty good, but this one stinks!

This book was horrible! Sorry, no offence, but it was! There was no point to the story, and the main charactor, Joey, is so stupid and ignorant! In the guidelines it says I'm not allowed to spoil the books for others, so I'll just say this, would you be stupid enough to change your clothes and pretend that you're a store dummy, IN a store?!! This retarded kid isn't even normal, and I can't see why anybody likes it! He can't face his problems, and he doesn't ask anybody to help him with his equally retarded father! The kid is so crazy, I wouldn't even call it realistic fiction! Nobody can relate to any of the charactors! Don't waste your time and don't read this book!
