This was, as everyhing written by ken Follet, a great book to read.
You will not stop until you have read it all.
Read also The Pilars of the earth from Ken Follet, the best book ever written by an author.

I felt that Ken Follet's novel, Code to Zero was a superb example of suspensful writing.
Keeping the reader's interests and constantly flashing back and forth in the story. A fabulous, fabulous book that I'm excited to recommend for anyone who likes to read. Bravo!

Research Accuracy
Very good read! I thoroughly enjoyed it. My concern is that a choice of cars other than Ford Fiesta would have been appropriate for a story taking place in 1958. The first Ford Fiesta was manufactured in Europe in 1976 some 18years after 1958. Historical accuracy has been a hallmark of most of his books. Disappointing oversight.

Anachronisms spoiled it for me
Good suspense, well developed characters and an excellent grip on the manners and mores of the time (WW2 to late 1950s). Unfortunately he refers to a particular car that wasn't marketed until 20 years later and there were a couple of instances of conversational idiom that belong to a much later time period. (I was there, that was my time)
