i say we all burn this book.

Its filled with way to many facts to remember. Too long to read. Hard vocab to comprehend for high school students like me. Hard to keep your attention when reading. An hour close to two hours a chapter to finish. In other words, don't read this book for fun unless for a purpose!

I find that this book was an excellent tool for study of early American history, but the rather boring and redundant writing style of Joseph Ellis drags down the interest greatly. If people truly hope for school kids to read books like this they should present the information in a less dull fashion.

I found this book to be very hard to read, its very dense and full of facts. Despite the short length of the book it takes a long time to read. I did not enjoy thr writing style and I found it very hard to pay attention.
