This book is boring ... except for the first 15 pages.
The dual was ok, but the rest of it is repitive and monotonous.
Its full of political thoughts that no one cares about.
If u were thinking of buying this book, here's advise DON'T!
DONT READ THIS UNLESS U HAVE TO!

One bullet statement....

"Boring"

Like the others said, this book just sucks as a novel. It would have been better if it was more of a newspaper article. Besides that though, just about everyone in an IB school has to read this book and if you think about that many people, it is really hard to find. With that said, this book should be re-evaluated and taken of the reading list and possibly removed of it's prize. Not only is it bad but it is also hard to find.

Founding Brothers contains alot of repeating of the same thing, while giving you no extra nformation. Every other paragraph is the same thing, just worded differently. I hate this book and I do not recommend that anyone read it, unless they plan on reading the first page of each chapter, beacause the next 40 pages is about the same thing. Sorry, Ellis. The New York Times lied. You made the Founding Brothers look bad.

The book is long and drawn out with a vast amount of repeting information. For one to actually understand the charpters, they must simply read the first two and last two paragraphs. I was assign this book as a summer read my 11 grade year and founf it taxing to just read four of the six chaprters. Even for an adult this book is very much so boring and dull.

I don't understand why people reviewed this book with such high praises. This book was horribly boring and repetitive...especially the words fiscal and congeal...ugh. I also kept falling asleep while reading this book...history is interesting and all--just not this. If the government wants us to learn about American history they should at least pick something interesting.

This is the worst book EVER!!!!!! I read the first 3 lines of the preface and practically went into a COMA, don't ever read it, it sucks beyond belief and is a waste of money! I don't even think it's in ENGLISH...aggh, all of the copies ever made of it should be burned...DIE DIE DIE FOUNDING BROTHERS!!!!
