This book was amazing! I read it starting the day after I finished The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks, while expecting no other book to live up to it's greatness. I was wrong! It's such an original idea, and so full of love and nurture. You could feel Suzanne's love for Nicholas, and more than anything, Matthew's love for Suzanne. I can only hope that someday I'll find a husband that can be even half as loving and loyal and Matthew! At the wrap up of the book I was unable to finish it for a good half hour because I was crying so much. The ending could've been a tiny bit better or more developed, but the book stuck with me for months.

Wow, what a suspensful book.
First the silver baby rattle, then the death of his wife.
I was totally surprised about ....edited to remove plot spoiler.
What a great ending!!

This book was very touching and it perfectly portrays true love, scandal, and suspense all in one. I love it!

Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas at times took me on that roller coaster of suspense and emotion that Patterson is famous for. Other pages brought tears of joy, tears of sadness. It reminded me what a treasure true love is.
Isn't it lucky for readers that James Patterson wrote this love story?

What an excellent story. I find that I am not alone in opening the book, and not being able to put it down until I finished it! And yes, this was a 3-Kleenexer for me! The story stayed with me for a long time afterwards. Lovely story line and wonderful insight to a love that few of us may never get to experience at that level. And thanks, Mr. Patterson, for the thought-provoking "5 balls".

Not Patterson's "normal" style - which I love - but an excellent book! I would love to see more like this! I sat down to read acouple of chapters, and ended up finishing it. The only time I put the book down was to get kleenex to wipe the tears that were streaming down my face!

I couldn't put it down. It was well written, and very organized. After I was finished, I wanted to read it again! I absoutly loved it!
Erika
