I saw my friend reading it, I read the back, it looked cool, so I asked my parents for it. A few weeks later, I got it for Christmas, but I got so many books, I kind of neglected it, the Carmen neglected the pants at first. My sister was going to New York for her sweet 16, and asked if she could bring it with her. When she got home she was finished, and wouldn't tell me if it was good, all she would say was "Just read it..." with a smile on her face. I finished The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in a day, and then read it again. The stories of Bridget, Carmen, Lena, and Tibby drew me under, I was so surpised, I never imagined it would become my new favorite book, but it did. Brashares writes a story so vivid, you might think one of those girls was her. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants reminded me of the virtues I had left to rot in the attic, and I brought them down for dusting again.

I loved this book! The best part about it was that I could identify with each and every one of the characters, I saw parts of Tibby, Lena, Carmen and Bee that reminded me of myself. I am sure that this is the case for many others as well, which is why i love this book so much!!! I think that anyone who hasn't read it should go out and buy it immediately because it is something that will stick with you for a long time.

This was the MOST AWSOME book I have ever read. I am not crazy, bu I hav probably read the book nine times. Each time I wanted to find out what happened to Lena, Tibby, Carmen, and Bridget at the end of the book. I have heard that Ann Brashares is writing a sequal!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! If you gave me a choice between Judy Blume and Ann Brashares, Ann Brashares gets my vote!!!

This is an EXCELLENT book for the young and old at heart. It is based on a friendship between 4 girls and it demonstrates the changes in life that we go through while growing up. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wishes to curl up with a good book.
