Choices & Your Path in Life
Falling is an enjoyable, comfortable story about a woman trying to find her place and purpose in the world. Anyone who has left home trying to make their way in the world but not satisfied with what the world expects them to be will enjoy Emma's journey. A story about how life doesn't always follow the path you expect. Book clubs would enjoy this as a summer read with good discussion possibilities.

Easy summer read
I would definitely put this book in the easy vacation read category. The immediate love between the two main characters was somewhat improbable and from then on you could predict much of the story line. Yes, there is a plot twist but after that I still felt you could predict the ending.

Enjoyable beach read
Jane Green is one of my favorite authors and Falling did not disappoint. It kept me guessing and a few times I skipped ahead because I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen with Emma and Dominic. All in all, the characters were identifiable and I recommend Falling to those who appreciate a good love story with a twist.

Good vacation read
Falling by Jane Green was a light easy summer read. Emma accepts a job transfer to Manhattan, leaving England and her parents behind to start a new life. After a couple of years the fast pace of the world of finance loses it's appeal and she quits her job and moves to Westport, Connecticut. She rents a cottage form Dominic and his six year old son who happen to live next door. Their friendship develops into much more and Emma discovers she is truly happy in a way she hasn't experienced before. Fate takes an unexpected twist and her life is turned upside down.

fun summer read
I'm having a hard time reviewing this book, as I don't want to give away any of the plot twists. While I enjoyed it, I thought there could have been more character development that would have better explained the "insta-love", as someone else called it, between the 2 leads. I didn't feel much "chemistry" between them, to explain why things moved along as they did. My favorite character was the little boy, Jesse. I thought his part was especially well-written.
I also thought the ending could have been fleshed out a bit more. After the last "twist", everything seemed to end abruptly (and in an unlikely fashion). Still, it was a good summer read.
I received this as an ARC from BookBrowse.

Disappointing
I have read a lot of Jane Geeen books and loved almost all but not this one. I am no expert to give intelligent and great reviews but this book was just an ok read - what made me want to cry with frustration was that instead of atleast making the readers happy by giving a happy ending it just goes and kills Dominic for what? To make it different?

Not my favorite
The story line was good, but the whole book felt shallow. I would have liked to see a little more depth given to characters, everything was a little too easily solved.
If you are looking for a beach read that is fast and quick, this would be your book, I do think the author has written better books than this one.

Beach Read
I enjoyed it enough, but it won't go down as one of my favorite books. A little predictable.
