Never Saw Me Coming
The premise of this book sounded fascinating, but unfortunately, for me, it failed in the execution. The only character I found really interesting was Charlie, who internalized his therapy to live what appears to be a "normal" life. The other students, and in particular, Chloe, were not particularly well developed. The narrative itself was a bit too convoluted and I felt the story dragged in many places. I pushed myself to finish this one and will probably not recommend.

A Bit To Long
I like psychological thrillers but maybe as I have read so many it has made it easier to figure out how the story ends. This was true so me in Never Saw It Coming....I did see it coming 2/3ds of the way through the book. I learned a lot about psychopaths. It was well written but was at least 100 pages to long. By the end I really didn't care what happened to the main characters. I personally would say skip this one, there are better books out there.

Psychopaths for days...
The premise psychopaths in a study at college and one of them is murdered was so intriguing. I would say the first 100 pages or so that set up this premise I was totally into. Then instead of being tightly plotted focusing on the main storyline of someone hunting the kids in the study there were just so many tangents. I kept up and finished the book, but instead of a 4 or 5 star read it was just okay. I was hoping for a fast paced read that focused on the main storyline, but instead I felt like I was reading multiple books at once. If this was the first in a series it could almost make sense why there was so much about what was going on in the student's lives and less about the murder/investigation.

No Wow Factor
This book did not wow me. I thought the storyline had great potential but there was so much going on behind the scenes that the main plot was simply lost in the shuffle. The characters were not likable; I suppose they shouldn't be if they are psychopaths but I found myself pushing to get to the end just to finish the book. Can't really recommend this one.

An easy and entertaining read, but.....
This was an entertaining "thriller" but I didn't think the characters well developed or very interesting and there were too many "events" that came out of nowhere. And I didn't like any of them except Andre. The ending was a real disappointment, even though it was a surprise, but to me it came from out of the blue and could have been made more interesting if those characters had been better developed - the backstory went all over the place. Not sure I would recommend this one.

Couldn't Engage
Admittedly, the premise of this story is enticing for many readers. However, this story did not come close to meeting expectations. It was similar to reading a below average YA novel that sounded childish even by YA standards. As I approached the halfway mark, I realized I really didn't care who "dunnit". The characters were not developed, and much of the story and decisions made by the main characters were unbelievable. I wanted to engage while reading this novel, but was unsuccessful. Thank you for the opportunity to read it.

Never Saw Me Coming
I was really excited to read this book. The storyline, a group of students who also happen to be psychopaths, being given a free ride at a prestigious university in order to undergo a character study, was very intriguing.
Unfortunately, it never got off the ground for me. Chloe, the protagonist, was not likeable, or even unlikeable - I found her just blah. And the supporting characters were also not well-drawn - no depth to them, although the author tried. The book was never exciting; it was extremely slow and the only reason I finished it was because I was giving a review. Frankly, I didn't care "who-done-it" or what happened to any of the characters. I wanted to like it, but I just didn't.

Never Saw Me Coming
This read like a bad YA novel…..writing very immature and patchy. The setup had tons of holes in it, characters not well developed. It was truly a disappointing entry for First Impressions.
