Amazing
Crispin by Avi is an amazing book that you should really consider reading. It has a lot of plot twists and shows you what the middle ages were like back then. Avi really shows detail and emotion on how Crispin is feeling. It's like as if you were there with him. Though, there's a lot of bloody violence. There's a lot of jaw-dropping deaths in there too. Some parts were funny. Crispin will probably be one of the best books you would ever read. You should really consider reading it.

Crispin: the Cross of Lead by: Avi; Review
The book Crispin: Cross of
Lead by Avi, is a very intriguing book. One reason is because it keeps readers on edge, with its timely fashion and with the different decisions made by characters. Crispin is a young boy who just lost his mother and doesn't know what to do without her while some unfortunate events keep occurring. Some of the decisions that Crispin must make seem like too much for a boy his age to handle, but seem like the right ones. All in all, Crispin: Cross of Lead is a very excellent, well read book that is highly recommended.

Crispin Review
The novel, Crispin: The Cross of Lead by Avi, is an adventurous story because it is full of thrill and unexpected turns. The setting of the Middle Ages and descriptions are described well which makes the story even better. Although the story’s plot is a little boring in the beginning, the author certainly makes up for it later on in the book. In the novel, the characters are well described and the author makes their personalities fit the plot. The novel includes a great theme that fits the story well and develops throughout it. Besides that, the novel’s ending isn’t that great compared to the rest of it. In conclusion, Crispin: The Cross of Lead, by Avi, is a great book with a great plot, and is fit to a reader with an interest of the Middle Ages.

Crispin Review
The novel Crispin, by Avi, is full of adventure, action, and plot twists that keep readers on their toes, making it a great book to read. It shows readers the Middle Ages from a perspective that they've never seen before: a serf's. And from this point of view, it explains the hardships and struggles of being a peasant with no land, money, freedoms, or rights to rely upon. Throughout the book, Crispin is faced with immense persecution, very few rights, and great poverty, as well as a burning desire to discover who he truly is. The book had many examples of loyalty, friendship, and self-sacrifice, as well as the usual Medieval torture, oppression, and death. It could be uninteresting at parts, especially in the beginning when there was little happening, and, like most books, it also could be hard to get into. However, overall, Crispin by Avi is a great, interesting, and imaginative story that will educate readers about the life of a peasant during the Middle Ages, but not without adventure, action, and plot twists.

Crispin: Cross of Lead- Mrs. Hibler's class
Crispin, by Avi, was an interesting, informative novel, because it allowed you to see the Middle Ages from a different point of view. The novel explains the hardships of being a peasant in Medieval times, and having no rights or freedoms to your name. For example, when Crispin is blamed for stealing from John Aycliffe, he has no opportunity to share his side of the story. This book has its good and bad points. At times, the book was uninteresting and dull (mainly towards the beginning), but once you get into the book, it becomes adventurous and exciting. The characters are full of life and personality, and the book has many plot twists. In conclusion, Crispin, by Avi, was an interesting, informative novel, because it allowed you to see the Middle Ages from a different point of view.
