About this book

Book Summary

A calculating killer who calls himself The Teacher is taking on New York City, killing the powerful, the arrogant, the rich. For some New Yorkers it seems that the rich were getting what they deserve at last. For New York's social elite, it is a call to chaos and terror. The Teacher's message to the wealthy is clear: remember your manners or suffer the consequences!

Detective Mike Bennett is assigned the case. Managing the pressure from his Commissioner, the Mayor, and the New York media would be enough for anyone, but Mike also has to care for his 10 children-who are all under 12 and who all have the flu!

Detective Bennett discovers a secret pattern in the Teacher's lessons - and realizes he has just hours to save New York from the greatest disaster in its history.

notsaying

Hmmmm...
This is by far the most amazing book I've EVER read... when I grow up, along with my other dreams, I want to write a novel, and this book definitely gives me ideas for topics techniques etc. Oh, and btw, read it because it is amazing, even if you are reading it just for enjoyment, because its EXTREMELY enjoyable.

Ailbhe O Conaill

Single Parent and Super Detective
For anybody who likes well written action mysteries but special appeal to NY Irish. NYPD Det Mike Bennett, widower, 10 kids at home (at once sick and hilarious). Great NYC detail, cast includes an Irish nanny (chaste) and devilish killer(chased). Even a Grandpa who happens to be a monsignor.

David Badger

Soap opera plot
Easy to read, but not at all satisfying. Cheesy storyline, all the cliches - would work well as a soap opera for those who will watch anything on daytime TV.
