Margaux Fragoso received a PhD in English and creative writing at Binghamton University. Her short stories and poems appeared in The Literary Review and Barrow Street, among other literary journals. Her memoir, Tiger, Tiger, was published in 2011. She died in June 2017 in Mandeville, LA of ovarian cancer.
