Donald Whittington was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana but spent his youth
traveling. He often attended more than five schools a year in different parts of
the country. After graduating high school at age sixteen, he joined the Navy
where he served as an Arabic linquist for four years. He has traveled
extensively throughout Europe, Asian Minor, Cyprus, Spain and Africa.
To date he has published twelve novels. He lives in Texas with his wife of
twenty-four years, three children, four cats, and two dogs.
