RE: Sarah feels “A truly creative ...

Creativity often demands breaking or at least altering the rules to allow the creation to live. Once you know what something wants to be, you help it be. That’s truly magical.

I do believe that those who look at life as magical often lead beautiful lives because they celebrate the happy times and gather support to get through the tough times.

If you believe it, you will see it. Yes I believe in magic.

Not being very creative, I marvel at people who are. Their beliefs seem to allow them to take in things that people like me just can not appreciate. Some of those things are just fanstical but without the ability to believe in them would stunt their creativity.

Its all in how you look at life, its a mental thing, if you believe in the good in life you will see good, if you believe in the woah is me mentality you will only see the bad in life. Creative process sometimes requires making mistakes, some of the best artists took mistakes and made them into lasting art.

I believe all humans are arttistic in their own ways. Perhaps you can paint like Picasso or you can organize a room like Marie Kondo...there are endless forms of art and creativity! And I do believe that art does require a bit of "blind faith". To be creative, you have to trust your instincts and take chances. Let the creativity flow from within.

And if you don't believe in magic; you will definitely NEVER find it! Some people get caught up on the word "magic", as a negative thing. You can easily change the word magic to prayer, trust, Nature, or intuition. They can mean the same thing.

Creativity comes from believing in oneself to make something out of nothing - blind faith. If you don't believe in something beyond the tangible (magic, angels, higher powers, etc.) then you won't find peace within yourself.

Creativity is believing in oneself and others. We must trust our instincts and take chances. . . it makes life so worth experiencing.

I think if you don't believe in something, then you can never find it because you aren't looking! If you don't have faith enough to think something is possible, then you can't believe its true or real.

I think if you believe in magic you are able to recognize magical moments in life. In order to be creative you need to be able to use your imagination and be willing to take risks. A creative person is able to see beyond the common to find the extraordinary.

I feel like Sarah was saying you have to be open to unknowns in order to find out if they exist. Be curious and see where that takes you.

Magic, possibilities, being open to what the Universe has to offer…….dreams do come true… there is magic all around us..in the quiet of an evening, in the cacophony of the 17 year locusts emerging, in the beauty of spring flowers..in the soft purr of a kitten, if we don’t open our hearts, minds, eyes, ears, taste, sense of smell…..

I believe we see what we believe. If you don't believe in magic, you will never see it. If you don't believe in wonder, you won't see it. It's the same with creativity. You have to believe in the creative act and commit to it to make it happen. It is a form of faith and trust.

I agree that you have to be open to the possibilities and allow for "magic" or "spirit" to come into you life in some form or way.

I absolutely agree with both statements--when I take out my art materials or my scrapbook materials, though I have a tenuous idea of what I expect my creation to be, I'm always amazed at the result. The ability to change the placement of a picture or two or crop one in a different way than you'd planned is just instinctive adjustment. The choice of a color or brush or medium can alter a painting totally from the original concept.

As for magic, I believe in magic and see it all around me, every day. I see it because I believe that deer showing up under my apple tree, close enough to touch, is by magic and my heart sings.

Happiness is so much a mindset, and I think it is true, that if you don't look for the magic, you won't see it, but if you do look for it, it is all around us every day!

Totally agree. Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what they eye can see.
