The Chamber of Secrets and La Piedra Filosofal (spanish versions), are up to here something totally wonderful. Look at this: I am 41 years old and I read like I can't stop! I want to send a big Kiss to JKR for this beautiful gifts to mankind, she gave us hope, vision, values, magic, entertainment, wisdom, and at least in my case, I am feeling again as I did when I read at the age of 11, Merlin and the Sword on the Stone,..I started to believe again in magic things the strong way I did when I was child. Thanks a lot JKR!!, I would like so much to know you or to receive just a couple of letters, or maybe to have a tea at Hogwarts..

When I picked up the first Harry Potter book I thought it was some old chap driving along in the countryside of England. But to my amazement, I found myself unable to put the book down. It's a wicked series, even though I haven't finished the third one. Out of 10, I'd give it 15 out of 10, 150%. Hope everyone else thinks the same.

I absolutely love Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets! I have read all the books and this one is definitely my favourite and by far the one I'd read again. I think J.K Rowling is the best author and I hope she writes another 4 or 5 books yet. I would recommend this book to anyone who has not read Harry Potter before as it is great!

Before, I have only heard about the Harry Potter craze from others. I was bemused to see my classmates poring over the books in class, as I thought that it was another temporary fad. One day, I walked into an empty classroom, and it changed my life, as I saw an untouched copy of this book lying on the table. I could not control myself, feeling a surge of some sort of magic power. Meaning to get a taste, I read just a little, but ended up not being able to put it down. I can only say one thing. It's like you're there watching everything happen. The book itself puts a magic spell on you, and there is some sort of driving force that keeps you going and going. It's like you have entered a totally different world, full of wonderful twists and turns and adventures. This is NOT merely a fad. Long live Harry Potter! I wish he were real.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is one of the most mysterious, exciting, humorous and entertaining books I have ever read. I am currently reading the third book (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) and it is pretty good too, but Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is way more mysterious and the ending is much more unexpected! JK Rowling writes with a style that is similar to Roald Dahl's (but better) and the events in the story seem as if they are actually happening. Sorry Jane Yolen, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens and all the other great authors out there. I think you guys have some competition now! Conclusion: You don't have to be a witch, wizard, squib or muggle to enjoy Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. You'll get so interested in the story you'll be up all night trying to finish the book!

I think that the chamber of secrets is a very good book. When I first picked it up I couldn't put it down. It took me a week to read it. My life is Harry Potter this, and Harry Potter that. I am reading the series now for the fifteenth time. I am still really enjoying it. How anyone could come up an idea like this is amazing. My bedroom is full of Harry Potter[posters, books etc]. If Harry was real I would marry him or one of his friends

I had read a lot about Harry Potter in the papers and decided to check out what both children and adults loved about these books, I was so enthralled I read all 3 books in less than a fortnight; but the 3rd one had to be the best, it had me on the edge of my seat and the surprises surpassed even the shocks in the other 2 books, I just hope Black gets his name cleared and Harry can live with him; it makes me sooo angry the way the Dursleys treat him...I am now about to embark on 'THE GOBLET OF FIRE' and hope it will be as good as the last 3 books....

This was a good read because the characters plated a contrasting role in the story line. I was pleased with the ever consequential turnout of the plot

I think making Harry Potter into a film is a really cool idea. It will be great to see Hagrid's Wooden hut, and Hogwarts school come to life. Apparently The game Quidditch will be filmed via special effects making Harry's amazing dives to catch the golden snitch seem realistic. Just imagine seeing professor Dumbledoor, and the naughty ghost peeves on your television screen! I love Harry potter and would do anything to become a student at Hogwarts school. It would be really wicked to be able to visit the village of Hogsmead, and eat all those weird sweets, like exploding candy or tongue twisters. Perhaps there really is a world of wizards. Perhaps we really are seen as muggles to another world?

My stepson received the second Harry Potter book for Christmas last year. Until then, I had never heard of Harry Potter. He asked me to read a chapter of the book with him every night before he went to bed. I agreed, rather hesitant at first. I love to read, mostly classic novels, but I wasn't looking forward to reading a "kid's book." I thought it would be a bit boring for me, since I'm 21. How wrong I was! I was just as captivated by Harry Potter as my stepson was. We found out that it was hard to stop after one chapter! Every night I went to bed wondering if Gilderoy Lockhart was the one bring all the trouble on Hogwarts. After completing the second book, we immediately bought the first book to find out how the Harry Potter saga began. We are almost finished with the first book now and have the third and fourth books on order. I think I'm more crazy for Harry Potter is now than my stepson!

I think that Harry Potter books are much like Ronald Dahl's which makes them a high priority on my reading list. They are serious, yet funny, and exciting in a suspenseful way. I have one thing to say to J.K. Rowling- "You are a great writer" I would never of even dreamed of coming up with a character as good a Harry. He is like a regular kid, well except he is a wizard.

I think these books are really great. I am thirteen and when my cousin told me to read them I thought they would be babyish. When I started reading I didn't think it was all that great but when Harry got into Hogwarts and started playing Quidditch I got really excited and now I'm hooked! I told my brother to read them and he loves them and now so do my two friends and my brother's friend.

I love Harry potter! It gives you a chance to disappear to a magical world, in Europe, where there are unicorns, and starry skies, and friends, and magic, and adventure. I loved the chamber of secrets! I do wish it would come out sooner though. (Plus I am 12 and I love Harry potter, there not just for kids, my teacher loves them)
