I love the hp books although i dont find it as good as the others JK Rowling as got a great imagenation and u wont put this book down!!!

& it really opened my door of fantasies
everyone who loves harry potter must read it

The book is good and all but it leaves too many questins on the readers mind.For example when anonymous fell behind the veil, where did he end up?And how can Harry defeat a wizard stronger than Dumbledore himself?I am really anxious for the release of the 6th book.I've red that hagrid nor harry not even voldemort are the prince.My guess is it is Dumbledore.In the fourth book Moody saids the Durmstrang and Beauxbatons headmaster and headmistress would like to prove Dumbledore is ONLY HUMAN.The book is probably coming out next year around mid summer.

Most of this book is of a 5 rating, but i had to give it a 4. The only reason i had to give it a 4 is because i felt some parts were drug on to long. For example the ending, yes i do believe that all the information given about the prophecy and what not are important but do think it could have been cut a little shorter. But don't get me wrong this book is excellent and i encorage everybody to read it.

Ok, I gave this book a '4' for several reasons. It was good, really. But I felt her writing style got a little on the sloppy side. It read like an 6th grade level book through out the entire thing. I can't really give this book a 5 because this was a 'transitional' book, meaning, this was the book mainliy comprised of charcter development, plot hints, etc etc so I knew from the start it would only be 'so' exciting. The quidditch games weren't exciting at all, in fact the longest game was what? 2... 3 pages?

The thing that 'really' got me where the characters! Harry acted like a little ninny the ENTIRE book, if he wasn't moping, he was whining, if he wasn't whining, he was totally oblivious as to what was going on. The Aunt was 'helpful' to Harry, the uncle was just odd, and the nephew went from annoyance to thug?!

I'm going to try to make this next point without spoiling anything. I'm sure everyone knows that 'someone' dies in the book. Well when the time comes for X to die, it lasts all of one paragraph and I'm like "... that's it?!" So far as I can tell, I'm the only one who feels like this, but still...

All in all it was a good book, but after a three year wait... I expected more.

Ask anyone about me and the first thing they'll prolly tel you is "omigod, she's the hugest harry potter maniac ever!" Which is sort of true. I am an HP maniac yes, but the hugest? Doubt it. Anyway, the reason why i gave the 5th book a "4" is because although the plot was as terrific as the first 4, the writing wasnt as good. No offense, but her style kinda changed a bit. It seemed a bit...rushed. And she used the phrase "isn't it?" and "wasn't she/he?" and "aren't you?" a LOT. BUT regardless of that, harry potter still rocks! The story itself I rate 5; its just the writing im disturbed about. By the way, I loved the 3rd buk best. A couple of years ago I literally slept with all 3 books beside me, and even if it was already late I made it a point to read AT LEAST one chapter from each book b4 i slept. That's how into it i am. i read the 5th book in one day, 11 hours nonstop. I even skipped my meals and taking a bath! It was 1000000% worth it! Ppl whu DONT like HP are obviously the ones with no childhood. So there.

I was pretty physced when this book came out but after reading it, I was a tad disappointed. Not that the book was boring, but the last two books J.K Rowling's written can't really compare to the first three. The only thing that really caught me were the last few chapters when some doors to the secrets people have all been yearning for were opened. I just hope that the sixth and seventh book will be better than this. And I was wondering, isn't the story line getting too morbid for younger children to read?

it's a good read, tho i liked the previous books better. can't wait for the other 2.
