I LOVE INKHEART
I read Inkheart last spring while on a plane trip back from Arkansas. I had read Thief Lord, so when I saw Inkheart in the airport bookstore, I begged my mom to buy it for me and read it going halfway across the country. I didn't stop until I finished. Let me tell you- Inkheart is, in my opinion, Cornelia Funke's BEST book to date (with Dragon Rider in a close second- kudos to Twigleg!). The plot is compelling and uniquely original, and the characters are wonderfully crafted (especially Dustfinger- ha ha, I'm a big fan of his). I know some people think that the story drags itself out in some places, but I think that it adds to the suspense and makes the story more engrossing. Plus, the longer the story, the more time you'll have to enjoy it, right? I highly reccomend this book to all fantasy lovers. Inkheart is above and beyond any expectations. You will not be disappointed!

Inkheart was undoubtedly the best book i have ever read. Dustfinger was a great character, and capricorn was ,without a doubt, the best villian ever. i also thought basta was a great villain as well. I would also like to say that i am shocked at how many people didnt like the ending! it was worded perfectly and i loved it! i would go on to further details, but i dont want to spoil the book for anyone who has not yet read it. the only thing that saddened me about inkheart was the pain of always thinking about it although i had already finished it and knew the adventure was over...

A fantastic fantasy that pulls you in more tightly at every turn of a page.
I loved this book with its great characters who each play their part in the exciting story line. The twists and turns of the story really took on great formation. I highly recomend the story to anyone who enjoys a thrilling fantasy.

An amazing book!
This book was truly AMAZING! It just takes you away into another world. I am not very fond of fantasy books, but this one was one of the best books i have ever read! The fact that this book is like a"story within a story book" it is wonderful. The way Cornelia develops her characters it is si good, there is not a word in the dictionary that can describe how good it is! I really expected more to the ending of the book but otherwise, it was wonderful! Once you start reading it, you can't stop because Cornelia makes you want to read more! I would recommend this book to children through adults. Once again, this book is truly amazing!
