oh my goshh
This book is the best book I have ever read. While reading this book I thought to myself, who would have the nerve to treat a little boy like this? It got so interesting and for days I kept my head in it and I couldn't stay away from it. I told all my friends about it and they got interested in it too. In a way this book inspired me. I never knew this could happen. I'm glad you were able to get away from the abuse.

This will always be my favorite book, it seems so unrealistic. I will never read a book as good as the one you wrote.

sincerely,

I LOVED YUOR BOOK
Your book has taught me a lot about child abuse. I never read a book in my life that almost made me cry. I have two of your books and I am doing a report over A Child Called It. I want to read A Man Named Dave, but my Aunt hasn't taken me to get it yet.

Greatest Book Ever
I think Dave Pelzer is a very strong person. Because had that happened to me, I couldn't have made it through the week. He was a very strong man and if I could meet him, it would be an honor. "A Child Called It" was an inspiring book and I bet it would make even the person with the coldest heart feel something.

A child called It.
I thought this book was very sad. I hated the fact that he had to go through so much sufering. What kind of mother would do that to there own kid? I hope she got what was coming to her in the end.It really made me think that I am am so glad that I have parents that cares about me. I am glad they support me in all that I try to acomplish.

BEST BOOK EVER
This is the BEST BOOK I have ever read. It made me think about how thankful I should be with my mother which I think is the best I know some times I forget about that and talk back to her. I am thankful that she never hits us she usually just grounds us or tells us something. I can't believe Dave had the courage to do what he did. He finally got away from his mother who was treating bad like if she didn't have a heart. Your book made me think a lot in every way it was such a good book that I couldn't leave the book for any moment. It was so good that I had to read "The Lost Boy" and after that I read "A Man Named Dave" I wanted to know more about him after that I read, well I don't remember what the book was called, but it was about his brother. But I really admire him 4 his great courage.

A Child Called It
I read your book "A Child Called It" for the first-time yesterday and it broke and touched my heart at the same time. I am a mother of 1 year-old and though I have heard and seen stories of child abuse, everytime I hear/read/see another one, I always wonder "Why?". I mean how can a mother who carries her child for 9 months stomach hurting her child, in whatever form of abuse?

I salute you because you rose above your anger and hate and forgave your mother.

I congratulate you because you are a walking success and a walking testament to the words "Nothing is impossible" .. nothing is impossible when you want to live...I would like to share with you that there was a time when my family was financially strapped and we had no food to eat. That incident/situation made me say to myself "I will work hard to make sure that I will never go hungry again". I am proud to say that I am the breadwinner of my family.

Anyway, again thank you for reassuring me also that there people like you out there and if there..the world's not such a bad place to live in then.

The Child Called It
I really loved this book. I wanted to cry for Dave Pelzer because it made me wonder would my mom do sush a thing and hurt me in that way. This story has even touched my 11 year old brother. If I could I would give this book a 10.
